I generally deal with hordes with my ribbon and bow/crossbow, and save bullets for specials or specifically big hordes.Sadly you can't disable container re-spawning. You can just lengthen it.Your write-up can make me believe that only having wild birds nest respawn would really be kind of a great way to perform.

I can digest birds constantly sitting eggs and shedding feathers in the apocalypse more than some hidden unknown person restocking the fridge.Hmmmm.
